  • Chestertons Polo in the Park

    Event Designer and Event Director since 2015 for this central London, greenfield event, catering for up to 12,000 people daily, across 3 days in June every year.

    Responsible for the entire process of planning and delivery, including stakeholder management, CT planning, licencing, H&S, CDM, security, medical provision and, ultimately, a safe and secure event and an incredible experience for our guests.

  • Gulf Concours, Burj Al Arab

    Design, planning and delivery of a world-class car show within the grounds of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel.

    The project involved careful stakeholder management to deliver over fifty ultra high value classic and super cars as well as event infrastructure to deliver high-end boutiques for luxury brands.

    Over the two day event, over 3,000 VIPs were entertained, including UK and UAE royalty.

  • Coutts Polo at the Palace

    To launch Coutts, the private bank, into the UAE and the Gulf Region, we negotiated an international polo event hosted at the Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.

    This involved event design, development of all relevant plans, overseeing the construction and delivering a two day polo and luxury lifestyle event featuring a number of luxury brands including: Maserati, Hublot and Faberge, as well as a fashion show by Stella McCartney and the display of numerous Damien Hirst original artworks. The event was a celebration of true luxury, fit for the banking brand.

  • LIV Golf Adelaide

    Engaged by Red Door Live as Project Director overseeing delivery of the Fan Village and Welcome Party for LIV Golf Adelaide 2024. Adelaide is a flagship event for LIV Golf, hosting 100K visitors across x3 days.

    The Fan Village was a 14 day build to turn x2 adjacent fairways into a festival site to host up 30K a day. Install included marquee builds, toilet and power installations, bespoke build of several fan engagement activations, bar builds, creation of a food festival area as well as sensitive stake-holder management to ensure a safe and successful event.

    Concurrently I was overseeing the design, build and delivery of an extremely high end Welcome Party for the LIV VIPS and 900+ guests that saw us convert the regional tennis centre into an incredible one-night-only festival themed party worthy of the brand.

  • Combatting Covid 19

    Assisting with the fight against Covid 19, delivering numerous projects for London agencies.

    Working with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham to deliver the mandatory requirement they had been handed to set up free lateral flow testing centres for the public. We had 7 days to choose the venues, design the processes, order the equipment, train and recruit the staff.

    This was all delivered as the first in London and our systems were then rolled out across other boroughs in The Capital, including Croydon Council just a few weeks later.

    Followed by the successful delivery of South East London Clinical Commissioning Group’s set-up, recruitment, training and management of a rapid response team that could deliver various short-notice mandatory requirements across multiple boroughs as ‘variants of concern’ emerged.

  • Massey Ferguson Antarctica 2


    A project to send an off-the-shelf Massey Ferguson tractor to the South Pole, definitively demonstrating the brand’s off-road abilities.

    A six month period, overseeing the complex logistics of ensuring the tractor and the expedition team were tested, trained and equipped to the correct level to ensure the expedition’s success.

    The management of this project involved a complex budget, overseeing winter testing of the tractor in Iceland, assisting in the development of mechanical solutions for optimising the tractor, sourcing and delivering all kit and equipment and managing a complex expedition in which the tractor was in perpetual motion all the way to the South Pole, meaning driver changes and refuelling all had to be managed while the tractor was moving.

    Delivering a safe and successful expedition, on budget and, overseeing the successful development complex broadcast equipment, enabling the project's PR potential to be fully exploited throughout the expedition and culminating in a live, 3 minute interview with BBC Breakfast from the South Pole - a TV first.

Event Construction Manager

  • UCI World Cycling Chmpionship 2023

    Engaged by GL Events to oversee construction and delivery of the event festival site at George Square, Glasgow as well as the Glasgow City race routes as Principal Contractor and Site Manager.

    Working with Glasgow Life, Glasgow Council and GL Events to oversee planning and delivery of these complex builds and installs, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and ensuring a safe, successful event build on-time and in-budget.

  • Birmingham 2022 Athletes' Village

    Engaged by Arena Group to advise on the delivery of their role as Principle Contractor for the Athletes’ Village at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

    Calling on experience of integrating CDM regulations into other events, advised on the pragmatic interpretation of the regulations to ensure that plans were safe and deliverable.

    Recruitment of the site management team and delivery of the site management element of the build.

  • London 2012 - The Nothe Facility

    Part of the delivery team for the London2012 Sailing Spectator Facility at The Nothe in Weymouth, as Construction Manager (Construction Phase) and Site Operations Manager (Event Days).

    The Nothe was a particularly tricky site to deliver a complex build due to exposed position, poor access and heavy undulation.

    Successfully oversaw the delivery of the build plans before taking on the role of Site Operations Manager for the live event days.

Tour Director

  • Rugby League World Cup Tour


    Delivery of the Rugby League World Cup Trophy Tour, across the UK, on behalf of Event360.

    The project involved managing the logistics of sending 3 giant replica trophies (Men’s Women’s and Wheelchair) to be exhibited, outside the venues at various games, as a social media activation.

    Managing all logistics, staffing and training to ensure a successful promotional tour that maximised the social media opportunities for the tournament.

  • Ritz-Carlton Grand Tour


    A Ritz-Carlton hotel event, created to showcase their incredible hotels across the UAE and Oman.

    Working with the brand and other stakeholders to design a luxury car tour that would provide an incredible driving experience as well as a stay in four of their hotels, in four separate destinations to attract travel journalists and influencers.

    Tour Director overseeing the four day event with 12 luxury and super cars and 24 journalists and influencers, from Abu Dhabi to Dubai to a desert venue in Ras-Al-Khaimah and onto Muscat, Oman.

    The tour included additional activities such as drag racing at Yas Marina Circuit, a high mountain pass at Jebel Jais and the world’s longest zip-wire.

    Throughout the tour we ensured the care, refreshments and hospitality were consistent with the brand’s very high standards.

  • Glenfiddich Family Owned Tour


    Glenfiddich is one of the last remaining independent family-owned whisky distilleries in the world.

    To celebrate this uniqueness they wanted a UK tour featuring discussions with representatives from other famous family-owned businesses on the merits of independence, whilst delivering interactive whisky tastings with the public.

    Over several months, we delivered a pop-up studio and tasting room all hosted within a yurt. The yurt visited numerous UK towns, hosting hundreds of whisky enthusiasts, whilst telling the histories of Glenfiddich and local family-owned businesses. including The Whitechapel Bell Foundry (who built The Liberty Bell and Big Ben, amongst other famous bells), The Kendal Mint Cake Company and H Foreman & Son fish smokers.
